Marching Band (Football Game Marching Band)
This marching band has over 300 members this year and is known as the “Rebel Regiment”. They perform at home football games, parades and other community events. This ensemble is open to rising 8th-12th graders by invitation. This group begins practice a week before school starts. They only practice once a week after school August thru October. We have many students who participate in sports and other school groups in addition to marching band. This group does a college band style halftime show and wears traditional marching band uniforms.
Competition Marching Band
This group performs as part of the Marching Band at home football games and parades. This group also competes at state, regional and national events. This group is open to 9-12th graders by audition. The competition band has won 12 state championships and has been ranked as high as 20th in the entire nation. This group does a competitive corps style show and wears a uniform that fits the theme for that production.
