The James F. Byrnes band program maintains an alumni association that wishes to contribute to the success and level of excellence of the organization.

The alumni from the organization donate to a scholarship fund that is to be awarded annually to recipients with financial need who exhibit integrity and dedication to the program. The scholarship will assist the recipient in paying for annual competition band fees.
